#Coloring tips!

The skin doesn't only have to be one color, use a soft blending brush select the skin color and move it towards the red in the color wheel a bit more and then put it on the shoulders ear and face, and blur the shadow you have added just a bit. Your also missing occlusion shadows
I would personally go darker and add a shadow below the eyelids (so basically put it on the eye). The inside of ears, the cheek you have put, the head would block out light so the neck would be in shadows a bit more. Think what areas block out light yk
Some areas on the hair might block out light too
You can add some rebounce light on the face, since a very light light is hitting the skin it will rebounce onto the face just a bit less transparent.
The pupil is a very reflective area, make a highlight and light onto the eyes unless you wanna leave it too look scary, ig that's also fair
Oh i see! But should the rebounce light be on the side of the character's face? :0
The lighting overall doesn't make sense. It's not just missing shadows but it just doesn't reflect on her as if she was 3D at all. Think about how the light bends where it hits her and which sides of her would be blocked from the light because of the way they are facing
That's very helpful!! Tysm for pointing that out! :00
i redid some parts does this look better than before?
It does! But I would change that light color at the top of the hair for a darker shade, as the top of the head is away from the light, and I would add some dimension to the bun because if the light is hitting where it's hitting, it will look vertical in the bite side but on the top it'll go horizontally as it'll follow the direction of the surface where it hits
