Oh yeah, something I was also curious about was how to add more depth like in the black parts of the character.
I tried to, but I couldn't get the color to work out much
Generally you can create more depth if you use more contrast in the shadows
So in this case i would darken the shadows you have put
But something that is special here is that the texture is oily or like the venom glue thing. Idk, you know what i mean
That means you need to put even more contrast through highlights and reflections of the surrounding
Are you referring to the oil or the skin?
All in all, just try making the dark parts darker and the light parts lighter (almost completely white or black)
Wasn't i supposed to?
Sorry, then i got something wrong
Nono I was asking if you were saying I should make the skin shading darker or the black segments darker
No, i mean the black stuff
So something like this?
Looks better
Yippee
Just in case you want to push it a bit more you can make the highlights and reflections even lighter
Yaaaay
Are you talking about the ones in light or shadows
Both, but of course the ones in the light should be lighter than the ones in shadow
Oh ok
Are these good
lol whoever designed her did her forehead wrong
i think there could be some darker hair values?
Ur pinkies are pretty long, but that’s meaningless tbh
These dark enough?
maybe whats it without the grayscale
do you like it
Hair has always been the thing I've been worst at coloring
It's good for what I can do id say
no hair is so hard to color for no reason
im currently trying to shade and its *tears flow
Yeah lol it's serviceable for now
I might redo it if it bothers me enough
Nevermind
It's bothering me
It's bothering me a lot
Oh thank you
