Instead of shading I'd focus on anatomy more and then tried to understand how to shade it
Also, once you begin to make prigress in anatomy (do not study the facial muscles, you should study the simple head structure, you can then begin to study the actual skull, I'd doesn't need to be detailed as long as you show the firms and stuff. Abd you can also study the planes kf the head. I recommend you "the asaro head" in sketchfab.
The asaro head focuses on plances of the head and how shadows and light interact with the head. You can also check people such as proko and angel ganev to better understand a specific part
Yea and also u could learn the loomis method
True. It goes into the average realistic proportions of the head abd how to draw the head
But. Let's get to what you wanted. You wanted shading right?
The asaro head can benefit you, but you also need to understand values and how to use them properly.
Values refer to the lightness or darkness of something.
I don't really know any videos which go into Values so good luck and hope you find one
Ohhh I have dw the first pic was just from today I took a 2 weeks break from drawing but I have already learned loosim method of that you say it I just need learn from more diff angles yk
Oki I’ll try and use asaro head next time I draw hope it will help me ty for telling me ✊
Facial muscles by that do you mean facial features?
Yess ty I will !!
Focus on the whole picture instead of small sections like the face. Make sure to use the guidelines with purpose too.
Also, try to understand what each guidline represents
I'll have to take my leave

Dude u replied immediately 😭🤣
You mean asaro head?
The asaro head isn't something you should draw. More so, it just teaches the changes in the human head in terms of planes. I'll send a video right now on the asaro head

The Asaro head explained in 8 minutes: This model, created by John Asaro, is a very useful tool to learn the basics of shading a head. It shows you the planes of the head in a simplified manner. This way you can grasp the fundamentals of light and shadow much easier.
