#Need help to draw bones

your structure is very flat, this could only wort if you are drawing front all the time, why do you require a ribcage, you drawing zombies?
I need to draw a skeleton
and Im starting off with the front, and then pass onto the side view, so that by merging both I can achieve 3D
Though I kinda tried to remodel it
U can use a 3d model of a simplified rib cage
do a better structure, something 3d
Where do I find that
yeah tbh just skip the bones and make a bean
Wait I'll send u a link
ribcage basically a blob
But how do I proportionate it
what if it comes too tall, or too wide
its not a stable form
eyeballs
what?
wouldn’t you see if its not proportional
This is so helpful guys
This is one of the models from my artistic anatomy and life drawing course “Form, Gesture, Anatomy”. More about this course, when and where the next one will run, and many free diagrams and course notes are available at the webpage:

i mean like just draw the general shape of the ribcage
Alright thx
Ribs are rlly easy to draw
I mean, this is how I kinda try to find proportions so idk how to apply it to the ribcage
Not really, its my first time so idk
Did u learn perspective and structure tho?
It’s literally two bean shapes then lines coming out
Im trying
Yeah?
Well but the angles are kinda weird
Like, I regulate myself around 45, 60 and 30 degree angles
or 90 degrees
Yeah I just normally curve it
use rounder lines then bruh
Then apply them to the rib cage don't make it flat
Im trying, its not easy because I have to regulate when the shape rounds up
like here, it begins growing round after 1/2 of it
I guess thx for the help though?
I think drawing from a 3d model can help u understand that 3d shape
suffering rn
?
i am bad with like 3d cubes i need to know them for like anatomy
Well I'd start with 1 perspective cubes
basically squares
For the cube, there is also 2 and 3 perspective
2nd perspective is basically 2 squares
coming into one single line
basically they share 1 line
hmm
let me show
is it like vanishing points?
ahhhhh
ok ok
i get it
two vanishing points is like uh that?
first one is one
thanks!
yeah
this should be 3 point I think
because the main focus is the dot
so like top veiw
rather than a line
oh ok
Hope I helped somewhat
