Isnt what you asked for but you should do more structural sketching. Rn the back doesnt seem to have any structure going on. It just being a blob where some little fluffs are. Look up a skeleton of a dog and pay attention to the structure and shapes of the various parts (probably better to be more like german shepherds or golden retriever than a miniature poodle lol)

It's a cat but yeah I see what you mean lol- i was trying a different style so I can see how it looks like a dog

The shape of the muzzle is what helps identify what it is. Because the muzzle is long it comes across as a canine rather than feline

Shorten it. Cats just have really short muzzles
Heres one of my cats with his head at a similar angle to your drawing(is the opposite direction but that can be easily remedied in the art program you use
