dang this is beautiful.Does she have lower back wings ?
Can I ask for tips to get better at anatomy and draw in this Anime style? Ps: I love your Art ❤️
Well lets nitpick here. Her hand lacks detail compared to the rest of the image. The wing or hair part looks very out of place. If its a wing it doesnt look attached to anything. Not her clothing or her lower back. If its hair It looks out place due to the color. The shading on her face is odd. The light hits her from the front and the rest of her body is shaded except for her face. Some how all her face is getting light rather then only half of it like the rest of her body. Her long hair looks less detailed then her top hair because it looks like you just used gradients to color it in rather then add shadows.
The background is a beautiful pastel work. My only nit pick is that it looks like a sunset but I see no sun. You added the sunlight reflections but yea I see no sun ball. Or maybe there is. Looks like a airbrush like sun actually.
Her back is bare but I dont see a shoulder blade line. And thats all i can really think of
Alright thanks, i got things to keep in mind now on my next drawing
Tracing as practice
Recreate art pieces
Oridays has a good video on this
The goal is to increase your visual library as much as you can so you're more familiar with art
Same applies for anatomy, the more you remember the better
You have to figure out why some things are drawin like so
Regarding the face
What exactly is odd?
Is it cause i did not add enough shadows for the face
Or is it the subtle gradient i added to give form for the curve of the cheeks (experimenting with this)
She does, i redrew the wings so many times
Its so frustrating to draw
Especially in an awkward pose like this
I guess the fethers dont have enough gestalt
As for the sun reflections, i really didn't want to add an actual sun ball, i added the reflections because i could not think of other ways to add more details on the water
Yes. She faces us the viewers. So light should hit only part of her face.
The wing looks good. Well drawn the only problem is that it doesn't look attached. Not to her outfit or her back
Ah yeah i based this from how other artists draw her
They usually not attach the wing as some kind of floating object
Others anatomically attach it
But i went with the earlier since its easier xD
Buddy which software+
Ooh yeah
That makes sense
I wanted to create a bright shape to focus on her face
Any tips on how i could keep the face in shade but still make it stand out and be the focal point?
Krita

Look outside is it day ?
No
