I think i can say ive got a nice foundation in fundementals. I may need to work a bit more on forshortening and hands but like… thats it. And yet, i am NOT comparable with proffessionals. Its like reaching the peak of a neighboring mountain to mount everest : you dont know where more to climb on, but you know theres more to reach. I just dunno what to do man.

If yall cant help me on this: please feel free to give foreshortening and hands advices. I found a technique for hands and can easily visualize the structure, but i am still not flexible with them enough for zll if them to come out right, or even be able to stylize them. As for foreshortening, it sometimes just….fails, and so i know i need to keep practcing.

Drawing method : digital for finished works, but i do a lot of traditional, just not finished traditional.

Linked images : foreshorteneing oractices and some late work, one finished, the other not.

in most of the cases the horizon line is on character's eye line /(THERE ARE OTHER CASES BUT WE"RE SPEAKING EASEY AND FAST HERE)

and everything has volume to it so even the window frame should be in perspective

okay so…its kinda different factors that made me less and less confident about my art lately. It started with me having an hard time drawing….its better now, but last year i was failling school and all, so burned out i xouldnt even draw as usual. Now, this year, i got to draw more, but, thing is, im in an artist friend group. Se started around the same time, and the others are getting sooo much more recognition for their art, and they just got such a better style and all. I used to the one to be on step ahead, but now…not really…and so i went « i have to get better NOW!! »

For hands I do a rectangle with slight curves then after the thumb if that helps at all? Your hands look decent but they are missing structure around the knuckles sometimes

also i think the reason i struggled with foreshirtening before is because i lacked structure drawing terribly

i often neglected it cause to me it was super easy to understand
