İve been trying to study more realistic things for school and this is a attempt i made ina. Rlly long while, btw i manage to get the hang of the shading (kinda) later on but i wanna know if i should fix up my proportions and perspective etc. (The angle i took the photo is the same from the angle i drew expect the book)

So if you look at all of the objects they have a way different angle than what you drew. For instance you showed more of the top of the jar and shaker than what the picture shows. Also the book i dont see any possible way the book could be doing that from the angle you showed without it being propped up somehow. When doing a sketch you need to check the general shapes before you even do anything with details or shading. Once youve drawn the structure check it and see if theres anything off. If there is then itll be an easy fix because youd be so early in that it wouldnt make that huge of a dent in your time. Meanwhile if you wait until youve done a bunch of details and shadows and stuff itll be a lot harder to do because theres more stuff youll have to redo
