colour problem

im trying to figure out how to mimic the colours from the picture i want to redraw

You’re actually doing a good job at this imo! You just need to mimic the background as well

I thought about the background but also i want to ask you how good you are at making art since i mostly get praises and i do not know if thats from a reliable source

I’d like to think I’m a good artist, mine is just more stylized

Maybe its just that i havent fully coloured it

And thats why i have a problem with it

The white background can throw a lot of people off lol, you’re doing a good job so just finish coloring, do the background, and if you still see something wrong come back and ask for help

I agree. Never fully go for a white bg (unless u want to) cuz it messes with color theory a bit. Change it at least to an off white or have an actual bg.

My mom did try to help me

By saying to lower his arm down

But i didnt really liked how it turned out with the arm being fully down
