Hyelp background

Hi how would i make my background less compositionally hard on the eyes? the person yr talkign to is gonna be in the middle most of the time . Other advice wld be great though im not gonna spend tooons of time

Lighter lineart colour, less saturated render colour, overlay of a lighter colour, less find details such as tiles or fabric pattern. Give the knight in the front a more complex render, darker colours and maybe a white outline to separate him from the background
