#body critique and advice

the main point im stuggling on are: *legs: they look bland and undetailed, idk how the knee works and the calves never look right. *elbows: i simplified them into 2 shapes which helped but they still look awkward on the left side. *hands and feet: im gonna work on them after this post but any tips would be appreciated. *torso: i have no clue how to add details to the torso like the ribs poking out, belly button or even muscles. *shoulders: mostly working on arms atm so im trying to understand the connection between torso/arms and the muscle that shapes the shoulder going down (pointy egg shaped)
damn that didnt work lol
also practiced some hairstyles for fun
I am not very good at anatomy, with that said the feet are massive for their perspective placement.
Also, if your struggling with anatomy and haven't tried gesture drawings, i would recommend them for warm up and better understanding of the flow and balance of the body
gesture drawings are something im super guilty of avoiding since im bad at them. at one point i will practice but for now i remain terrified of them lol. ill make the feet smaller and now that u pointed it out, idk how i didnt notice they were that huge.
It's alright if you dont like gesture drawings, you can learn anatomy however you like and it would be good.
Im also at the position as you. Anatomy scares me alot so i haven't even started to practice it. Although you're just scared from gesture drawings.
everyone learns differently i guess
+rep for being able to do gesture
did some more hairstyles
