uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
in general
preferably digital artist tips as well
but i dont mind traditional ones
Study the fundamentals.
Don't compare yourself with other artists.
Make sure to sketch and thumbnail first.
Use references, always.
Don't get too caught up in the details.
Work with your entire arm, not just wrists.
Any tips for if someone were to.. perhaps.. use a mouse..?
I'd say try to invest in a drawing tablet, it doesn't have to be an expensive one.
Drawing with a mouse is doing some damage to your hand and wrist.
Now I'm not saying you can't, it's just a lot more difficult.
yeah ik
hold on how much does a drawing tablet even cost-
Aw hell naw
my wrist gon have to put up with it
i aint buyin that
💀
oh
wait nvm
i just saw some rlly expensive ones 💀
now i see cheap ones
There's really cheap ones for like 40 USD
I've used both. It's kinda a preference thing, its about where you look while drawing as one without a screen means not looking at your hands, but rather at a separate screen.
but as a beginner an easier to replace one would be better (cheap no screen option)
understood around 80% of that, but thats all i need to understand
..
that dosnt make sense-
oh well
This one look good?
its cheap and has a screen
Graphic tablets without screens are significantly cheaper and are ideal for those on a smaller budget. Their hard plastic exterior also makes them less prone to wear and tear. However, having to look back and forth between the tablet and the computer may discourage aspiring artists from regular practice.
That's a light table
Question: What is the difference between H420X and H420, 420? Answer: H420X is an upgraded version of 420 and H420. It uses a battery-free digital pen with a pressure sensitivity level of 8192, a reading rate of 300PPS, and a pen resolution of 5080LPI. Compatible systems include Windows, Mac, Lin...
probably should have said this earlier, but i got less than 3 brain cells
so yes or no?
oh ok
ill take that as a no 💀
ty
Wait does it also work if your on a laptop?
or nah?
A light table is for traditional art, for tracing.
Yes, it works for laptops, you plug it like a mouse.
oh ok
hey late bu5 just ti say that if youre completely tarting out, i think staying to just sketches in your sketchbook is gonna be great.
digital is….weird? Like, even with a pen, i dont think its the best to get your hand used to the movements and all
does having experience with 3d animation help at all 💀
since.. its a form.. of art?
i think?
if you model it, yes?
though animation will definitely make your poses lesss stiff
i do not snimate hut i have watched tutorials and so on so…yeah
alr
but yeah modeling something in 3D is a greeeeaaaat boost on ur art
ahhh
and then expand with animation..
so basically im learning something to learn something else to learn something else
level expanding 🔥
fr
also i have a like. Suppperrr great vid to level up fast
Like. In one year, youll get veryyy good results

lmao
also his first practice lesson thing can be kinda tricky ro understand ad a beg8nner?
so im going to
Give tips
so. Figure drawing is a lot about feeling and following the flow of the curves of a body. Lets take this one for example.
if i were to do a figure drawing of it, i’d immediatly notice the flow of the shapes. This will reall6 helps, considering figure drawing exagerates, and simplify bodies.
This will probably help you get a flow with your pen 🔥
Also…again….pls, draw on paper. Digital just feels weird. And…paper is less expensive, lets be fr
I Agree! Starting out, learning fundamentals, paper is great.
also !! He gives you a plan for if you wanna learn EVERYTHING but, honestly…? Focus yourself. You wanna draw characters ? Do the characters, ignore his perspective thing. Maybe learn his perspective basis, but dont go into learning whole ass landscape if you only care about characters.
its alr
alr
well…you wanna model. Right?
yuh
okay !!
so. Think of what you wanna model most. In my opinion, but i am biased, character is better for a human has more complex shapes than a building. Also…learning how to draw the building wont help in 3D? Since learnin€ landscape in art is making them look in perspective. You kinda dont have to worry about that in modeling, am i right?
uh
in blender
normally you like.. make a sketch..
then import it in..
then trace-
to like actually get the shape right
cuz modelling from top to bottom or bottom to top will just make it look kinda wonky
ohh
but yeah
if you use perspective
On your drawing of those buildings
then they wont be the right height
again
this is your journey
so
do what you want ig
i.. most likely wont be drawing buildings..
plus drawing is only for a portion of the things that i'd model
like weapons, tools, just items in general
or anything else that drawing could help with
Learn with a mate
and never give up
dont put pressure on yourself
good idea
ill force my friend to learn with me
cuz am good friend
👍
I think i worded it right
and never look at other progression or dont be jealous of other arts (coz you will be better than them soon)
perfect
Fr
aint no one better than me 🔥
💀
idk how to respond to that
are u kidding or-
do you actually not know who that is..

i was kidding
OK OK
i dont really gaf about the mcu anyway
phew
