It’s my opinion that as long as you’re trying to get better at art, how doesn’t really matter (within reason), asking AI is really not that different from asking another artist for help, it’s just perceived differently, either way you’re just trying to get constructive criticism and improve so I think it’s perfectly okay to get help from an AI 🫶🏼

Ive definitely used ais like chat gpt to help me generate ideas for what to draw. You definitely have to be very specific about what your question is. State it outright even. Ai will not pick up on implications

If youre using ai as your content that is where it becomes an issue

I don't use AI to create my art because it just doesn't sit right with me. I prefer putting my own personal touch into everything I do, you know what I mean?

but I do ask ai to help to get an idea of what could be better with my art.

Prompt/idea generation is totally fine. Using ai generated art is a definite no(meaning the ai made the art. No person actually made it)

Hmm well think about it this way, ai refrences from other artists and doesn't give credits. So when you use it, if the art blatantly steals ideas then in a way you wouldn't know and you would too so then the artist that It stole from would have the idea stolen from not only by ai, So it uh becomes kinda bad. Ai also just says what other artists say, so it may give you biased data. But in no way should anyone get harassed because of using ai, I hope your fine

Yeah I know that, what I was saying is if ai fully steals a artists idea then like you wouldn't know and used it too then that idea be stolen, like not the art fully but the idea. If you use a idea you should ussually give credit to the artist but with ai you can't fully do that. Uhr I hope I made my point more clear now lol
