Is this the drawing of the character you did or the official art?
Yea
@vocal pasture id follow this
Gives a general break down of of the characters are drawn
mhm ok
I think I should change the pose of this drawing, bc I feel like this is traced, I'd better come up with some poses and try to draw the exact pose and make it look like the artstyle of the show
Here’s the pose I drew today and I’d studied the pose, what do you think?
Fixed pose and fixed the head angle, what do you think?
Can you send me the original reference so I can compare it more accurately? @vocal pasture
Uh yea sure here you go
Thanks
The angle of the head is a little off
She’s looking up in the reference
The guideline you made makes it seem like it’s a 3/4 view
This is kinda what your guidelines should look like for the head
When you draw upturned heads you draw a curved line for all the features
Same thing applies for downturned heads
The line of action is also off
You have it going through the left side of her chest when it needs to go in the middle to show the middle of the ribs
Make sure you show the 3D form of the entire body
Separating it out in sections helps with breaking the figure down
mhm… ahh I get it now okay I’ll certainly do that
All of this applies generally for the entire body like the arms and legs
Here’s what I’ve done so far is this good?
It looks flat, you should add more dimension to it. If you go back to my draw over of the reference for the torso, you can see I didn’t just trace over the entire thing, I broke it up. This gives it the 3D effect
In your drawing I can’t see where you torso starts to turn, like the references does
Your shoulders are also level in your drawing, but they aren’t in the reference
That might be giving you a bit of trouble
mhm... okay
I recommend watching YT tutorials on how to properly draw the body
Thank you for 24k subs, you guys are unreal!
I appreciate everyone's support very much!

Updated WIP pose
That is much better
Not exactly the same as the reference but could work as another pose
One thing I do notice is that the chest looks a bit too high up
It looks a bit odd so I’d move it down just a smidge
mhm how’s so?
Like the chest itself looks too high
I might be wrong though
I’d tried to fix the chest a bit, what do you think?
There we go!!
Moy bien (very good)
That definitely fixed the issue
The cross contour line you have for the face is a bit off and if you were to use it your face wouldn’t be lined up correctly
Just move the vertical line to the middle of the chin and you should be good!!
The horizontal line could be tilted a little bit as well
Other than that it looks really good, you’ve improved so much
ok
I’d managed to fix the pose by making the torso lean a bit and used stick figures to make it look good, what do you think of it?
That definitely makes it look more like the reference!
And now I’m drawing the artstyle with that same pose and drawing the artstyle of the pose with panty and stocking style
tgat right arm is kidn of short, id recommend making it longer
k
Oh do you mean the left arm?
Fixed the right arm... and here's the head style
I’d somehow made it a bit more geometric to make it look accurate what do you think so far?
The top of the head should be a tad bit higher
It looks like it got squished
What about this?
Are you trying to be more realistic or follow the PASWG style?
The last one you did looks more like the PASWG style than the one you currently did
Here’s what I’ve done
Yeah that looks more like the style
I would maybe extend the feet a tad bit
which feet the one in the right or the left?
Both of them
But only a little bit
I think the feet are a little longer than what you drew (iirc)
You have a couple of tangents, which is something you should definitely avoid
I’d redrew the pose and well here’s what I’ve done
Nice
There ya go!
That looks so much closer to the style
The style itself is really modern and geometric
Just remember that when you draw it
Welp… Here’s the character I wanted to draw in this style, it’s basically a robot girl from a cartoon show in 2003
Oh yeah, that looks really good so far!
Can’t wait to see the final product
Here’s what I did actually
Yeah that looks super good!
Hold on… I’ve been cooking. How’s this?
How’s this?
Anything I should fix or is this fine?
Looks fine to me!
K… someone said that “the facial structure doesn't sync to the head.”
Well it’s supposed to be cartoony so I don’t see why it can’t break the normal proportions 🤷♀️
I’d wanted to make it look like paswg artstyle of eyes
