I feel like it looks kind of like the drawings id make as a kid with how messy the shading is and how none of it is blended very well but im not sure how else to do it. currently using "Kyles inkbox classic cartoonist" brush out of the wet media brushes in photoshop with pressure effecting the opacity and slightly effecting the size. I am very new to drawing this is my 3rd ever drawing just want some idea of what I need to work towards
#Need help blending my shading.

This is such an interesting piece! Reminds me of something I just can’t put my finger on it, also feels quite nostalgic and abstract
I quickly drew this up for you, you should be blending in a motion regarding how the object is shaped, think 3D! It’s super simple but might not make sense, if you have any questions please ask!
It feels like maybe I am using the wrong brush or something when trying to blend as the brush i am using has a very visible edge to it and is not very soft is this the issue or is it just that I need to get better at blending using pen pressure?
I’m not sure what your brush looks like but if it has a very sharp edge you might be able to try an airbrush, quite basic brush
But I would like to mention, using an airbrush for everything can sometimes make it look a bit strange or not really work, so try keep some hard edges!
ive heard using airbrushes is a bad idea for learning how to draw better
I think I probably should watch some youtube videos on how to blend too
Airbrushes are not at all bad, you just need to keep a mix of soft and hard edges
