Hello I drew this and I’m happy with the result (I do feel like it looks like the reference) but there’s something about the shading that bugs me. I feel that maybe I put too much and it makes it look muddy? Or like i need to smoothen it up?? Any criticism and help would be appreciated

Overall this looks good imo
apart from the shading the eye on the left is too long
her jawline is more rounded than what u have
the blue areas is where I would darken it by a little, the yellow is adding more brightness. the red lines on both images to see the diffeence of the angle of the lines, your line going upwards
you could try to soften the blending, try to use a blending stick or tissue paper to blend it more
