Do you have a reference?
No, I couldn’t find one in the position I wanted
I looked up images of horses tough
No horses experts? Eh
Im not really an expert but id say the lower part of the hind leg is too bent. The left hind leg could also be a lil bit shorter i think. Sadly i cant help with the 4th leg, sorry!
The left foreleg**
Don’t try to draw something from imagination when you haven’t mastered that subject yet. Draw from references, not everyone is Kim Jung Gi. My best advice is to scrap the drawing and start a new one with reference.
Right, but I kinda wanted to take a break with this one piece and just bring myself to drawing something, so I decided I didn’t want to use references this time
Still wanted to make it look nice, and decided to ask for some help, just in case someone can just put it correctly
My best recommendation would be to search up side profiles of horses prancing. Search for an image where the front legs are in a similar position to the front legs in your drawing
Have you sketched a skeletal structure on an under layer? I think this will help you see where your lines of action are, as well as the 3D form of the horse.
Your back leg anatomy is a bit off. Trying to draw the skeleton (very simply even) might help
Ye, I now see it’s distorted
Posting to critique also helps me bc for some reason I start to notice some mistakes I did even without people telling it
yes! it's like your brain can start seeing it with different "eyes"
Psychology xd
is it kicking it's legs back? like a little jump? or galloping?
just a quick sketch to help with the current leg. (hope people don't mind draw overs? )
Whoa, thank thank thank you
I’ll definitely use this leg shape
3d shapes blow my mind! Hard to wrap my head around generally, so im glad i can help ^^
Maybe you could do something like this
No no, thank you but I don’t want this
Ok sorry
No no, it’s a carousel horse XD
He is so cute
My fault😹
It’s not
Wait I would love to draw like this
I rly like how it’s turning out
My drawings are all for the realistic side
And you can
It requires practice like anything else
But you surely can
