This is super pretty, I wouldn’t really change much about how the water’s rendered, but I would find a way to obscure the horizon line a bit. It jus seems extremely sharp, but that’s a preference thing for me really. Other than that, this piece fucks

Your artwork is already impressive, I love it : ) Just some fairly small things to take it up a notch, is to try adding more details to the foreground for extra depth, and balance the bright sun by incorporating subtle elements on the opposite side. I think it’s best to also enhance the lighting effects on the water and character, and smooth out the transition between warm and cool tones. Add more texture to the mountains and clouds, and refine the character’s details. Don’t forget to use atmospheric perspective to create a sense of distance and ensure consistent perspective throughout. Lastly, yes do consider adding more wildlife or small environmental details, and I do suggest movement with touches like a breeze in the flowers or the character’s cape.

Hope this helps alot 👍

Values could be darker in some places

#

Like the inside of the volcano, that could be a lot darker for sure

#

underside of the clouds, parts of the rocks

#

see how its all the same value around the upper part?

#

You could even push the highlights more

#

Water could be darker farther back

#

It’ll make everything look more 3d and pop
