im trying a new art style and drawing a attack for art fight but i feel like it doesnt look good, does anyone know how to fix it?

For one you need eyebrows. Second the bangs seem too high on the face. Especially the two side curve out parts (brain cant name it for some reason) the ears are also too high up. The bottom of the earlobe should be by the mouth

You are also being inconsistent with your light source. Hair suggests it is coming from directly the side, but the face looks like it is coming from the front side. And the body/clothes it looks like theres all and no light source. Remember how the body is shaped and how light hits it from the angle you are wanting

the shading is pretty rushed but i just wanted an idea of where to put it, is this better/more consistent?

should the shoulders also sit in the shadow

Not sure if you’ve simply missed it but you need to colour the sclera (white outer layer of the eyeball), at the moment it’s skin colour and it looks odd.

lightsorce from above, was about what i was searching but i didint get much that was useful,

this is my newer versio i tried adding more light to the face like in the photos but i wasnt working well with my artstyle but im going to try a bit more before i decide im done

Have the bottom inner jacket be darker. Also have more of the face and chest a little more lit
