need help for this painting

i thought the background was too empty so i tried to add mountains but they don’t even look like those, any advice?

I think to add depth make the bushes at the back darker like this:

Things further away look lighter (like the mountains) so making the thing in front of it darker adds some depth

It’s really pretty by the way

The size is more subjective, making it a bit taller (like in this ss) makes it more obvious what it is
but honestly I prefer the way you’ve done it since it’s still pretty clear that they’re mountains, and I feel like painting jt lower draws more attention to the flowers :)

Both look good to me so it’s up to you
