Hello, so from my previous draft, I chose the second one. Then i find it less dynamic or flowy so I made s light tilt which further gave me the ideas. However I sort of had my complications because it felt like it’s right to use a perspective for this piece. So far I think I did well on the girl in the middle but the other characters haven’t been adjusted to the perspective just yet.
Just to note, I used a 2 point perspective, one from the bottom center and around the neck/ head of the character. I think that there will be lots of line of actions trying to make this piece a bit more alive, flowy, and dynamic. However, since I chose to use a perspective tool, the overall progress right now seems to go back to the first draft. Maybe I haven’t really adjust the other character poses based on the perspective? I really need a second eye to help me out!
Any tips or any pointers of what I can do to adjust to make sure the piece looks more alive than calculated placements? I will be adding the flying papers/photos as well as the people who looked up to the girl so there will be more added surrounding the whole piece and I’m a bit afraid to draw them.
context :
I am making a poster for a competition about spreading awareness in mental health issues in teenagers and I’m highlighting the Ex-golden child or burned out academic weapon. The girl is the main subject here, she achieved so much but it’s all to live up her family expectations and wishes. Yet her efforts are not what she desired nor to help her purusing her passions/dreams. Herself as individual is often overlooked as her achievement shined the brightest, making others blind about her struggles to make sure everything works out and to do no mistake. So uh, I make the girl looked like she’s sad/empty. The family only displaued her as their pride and joy but not acknowledging her suffering.
