Trying to get my comm sheets ready, can I have some critique for this

this is beautiful, it feels very reminiscent of a renaissance portrait to me. if you feel up for a challenge, i’d recommend playing around with lighting and shading, using shadows and highlights to really highlight the planes and forms of the face, and even to add texture to the clothing

This is what I got but I prefer the one I sent better.

#

The chin is still a wip on this little play around sketch

no no i love this so much!! i think you just need to play around with the values and make the colours warmer, with more contrast between the dark tones and lighter tones. but the chin and lips are looking fantastic so far!

This is what I have so far but I'll still work on the left eye

#

I adjusted the lighting by looking at the values, is it better?

#

Added texture and fixed a Lil bit of lighting

#

So far so good, just the left eye and lips

ayo bro this looks so much better than what you had at the beginning. i would go darker on the shirt shadows. the values are slightly off

I can see what you mean for values there

So the left eye is sortof wrong, at the way left of the eye, the eyelids should cover it more.

#

The flower guy at the top who replied to you drew the shape of the eyes easier, try and refrence what he did

Procrastinated a lot, mostly art block but I tried to match the shape of the eyes in comparison to the reference like you guys said and it helped a lot

#

I didn't exactly match the position of the pupils since it seemed off like he was looking 2 different directions but is there anything I can improve, because I finally feel like it's finished
