Hiii first thing I noticed is that the mouth should be waaay more open
What helps for me is to draw shapes I see within the dog
Which will help me have a better vision of the proportions
It may be a challenge at first to start seeing shapes in things but you can try exercising by picking out different dog pictures and drawing the shapes like I did in the photo
This is for when you want to practise realistic art at least!
Then for the teeth
I saw you had some difficulties making a difference between them
A dog has a row of little front teeth
Then a larger teeth and then a few triangle ones that go till within the mouth
I'd suggest drawing a bit bigger so you can really get into detail
Then as my last advice is picking a dog or wolf that has an equel colored fur
So you can make a difference in shadow and just black fur
With this white dog you can more easily spot the shadows
When doing that it's important to try and figure out where the sun is coming from
Since the light comes from the right above the dog and on his backside there will be no sun shining on his face since his ears are blocking the sun
As you can see in this picture it's harder to spot the shadows
But okay! I hope this helped a little
Have fun drawing!! π
thank you! thank you! thank you!
ill take try out your tips as soon as i can!!!
