it looks pretty nice generally. i dont think the pants need more texture. i think the problem youre running into with the hand is def a perspective one, did you use a reference for perspective here?
this is the closest i could find for the pose, but you can see here that the arm on the far side is lower
think of it this way, the rest of the body looks incredibly spot on, and the knees are angled properly in perspective so the wrists should be too
You should always keep the vanishing points in mind when drawing in these extreme perspectives. Drawing cross sections as a guide really helps with the placing of any feature, so the folds on the pants should follow these guides. You drew them the way they would look if you were looking at him from above.
A reference wasn’t used to draw it
I think I understanddd thank you for the adviceee
Uhh
I’m a little lost rn actually
I’m not too sure how to shade the pants properly so it’s drawn according to the angle
And also, is the arm in the back drawn correctly? Should it be placed further down?
Where is the light coming from?
Yes, it would help if you moved it back, kinda make the pecs cover most of the biceps and only peek the forearm, if you want to keep this pose . If it were me I’d make the right arm mirror the pose of the left arm so hand close to the leg.
Okii I’ll try thattt
Then invert highlights and shadows on the pants. Right now it looks like they’re lit from the bottom.
Use this as a reference of the arm (not the forearm) hiding behind the torso.
I’ll fix that up then : ) thanks
