Hey! I've been having some trouble with Winsor & Newton Pro-markers. I watched many videos of these markers before purchasing them. On videos, their color was nice, even, and clear but when I used them they've become darker and lighter in some spots and don't look as nice. Even when I go at a quick pace there's still a difference... Is there any way to fix this..?

Let me know if you need any photos!

#

It just looks off

#

Idk if that’s because I haven’t outlined it or something

Are these alcohol markers?

#

If so you actually want to take it slower when coloring rather than fast

#

Otherwise it will come out splotchy and uneven

Are you using the proper paper? How are layering the colors onto the paper?

Yeah thats alcohol based

#

You need to not make fast brush strokes

#

It will make it streaky and splotchy

#

Color slowly so you are getting it well covered on the paper

so that's all?

#

When I do it slowly it gets really dark

Not too slow. Not too fast

#

Also work when its still slightly wet like ypud do with watercolors so less streaks. Once the ink dries then youll start getting more streaks
