Very impressive to go for this level of realism. I think the contrast on the iris is very high. It's far darker than anything else on the painting. It does seem intentional, but with how hyper realistic the piece is, It doesn't really do it for me imo. I think the issue you have with the pores is it's very textured and detailed, while the rest of the piece seems more clay-like. I would either blend those pore highlights, or give the whole peice very small and intricate texturing (try using some closeup references, and zoom in really close to note every little highlight and detail) At the bottom there's an area that has some smudges. It looks kinda like acne or blurry freckles. If that's what you're going for I would try to define it a little bit more. If not I would smooth that area out
Also this area here seems a little distracting in the way it's shaded. I think the upper eyelid needs to be a little darker
Or maybe the ridge of the eyelid is a little too thick there?
Too good
Yeah sorry if my critiques seemed negative. It is very well done 👌
Exactly it's like you spoke the same voices in my head
I was still in the process of improving my art when I did this piece
Also it's a drawing not a painting
It's the gray tones I feel like some spots could be way darker and the the white part on the eye ball needs to be more white
