simple character design!!

I made this paper doll a while ago and got inspired to make a character!
Im not sure what colour hair I should do or where she should be from.
Im open to anything, but the timeframe is 2000’s ish!

I think hair colour or maybe facial features? I’m not too good at designing things like this yet

black hair stylized as blue, i always find that colour very appealing
thats just what i would do tho, up to u ofc

i think the full body drawing is very cute and has a lot of character, and the tiny pigtails are very neat and simple
it is very simple, and without any flaws to pick at, so its hard to say one way or the other what needs improving, but i reccomend making different outfits for her, like she is a sim
swimsuit, big winter coat, a silly costume, traditional clothing, etc. I aways find that helps me get to know my characters, and they sort of create themselves from that point on

I adore the sim idea I’m totally doing that

and explore different facial expressions, draw her interacting with things and people around her, like drinking tea, or picking up a smaller sibling, whatever
get doodling, and you will figure out who she is
