I think some sharper and darker shadows would help u make it more polished :0] and also convey a bright source of light since the darker the shadows in small areas are, the brighter the light looks

but what if I alr hit like the darkest and lightest part of the color wheel?

Well then u can take ur darkest vallues and maybe paint them with a sharp brush in the areas u think deserve it

Bc the blurring effect makes the light look dispersed, yet the vallues are so contrasting so it makes less sense
