#Does the colours seem fine?

maybe make it a litltle more vibrant and add highlights otherwise its good
but u could use more complementry colors
If i turn off the saturation it is kinda hard to tell in terms of value where the hair and background begin and end. Also the hood shawl thingy blends in with the hair. A good exercise is to have a layer that you can use to turn off the saturation so you can see what may need adjusting. Over time with practice you can make this happen without needing this extra layer. But i do recommend it while youre still figuring out a balance for value and color
epic imma set the hairs value a bit higher since marcille is blonde
Hello! I really like your art!
I tried adjusting the colors/contrast on Marcille and the background using the magic wand and some tonal correction layers. I think lightening up the character overall (increasing luminosity) and desaturating the colors helps make it look a lot more like the on-screen version. I also slightly green-shifted the dress.
I hope you like my suggestions and this helps!
Looks awesome. I also highly recommend the colors that absence recommended. Unless you wanted it to be a semi muted color
shit, this looks good
looks good enough (idk how to play with corrections)
nvm
I think this one fits the best
The style (imo) doesn’t complement a desaturated look
i thought it looked like a spooky manga or smth, but then again idk this fandom/anime/whatever this is from
@gilded kindle That looks pretty good! What program are you using? If you're using Clip Studio Paint then I like to use "Select > select color gamut", click the color I want to adjust, then hit ctrl+U. Or, you can add adjustment layers which do basically the same thing through "layers > adjustment layers > ...". Using adjustment layers makes it a lot easier to edit later or remove. Just make sure you select the color/section you want to edit first!
Also, I later realized that I color-matched the lower half of her dress to the reference's top section of the dress. My reference was bad because it doesn't show her lower half so I messed up there.
ye i use csp epik epik
