Are you asking for help with something? Cause it seems like youre just making a statement than actually asking for something
sorta
ive been trying to draw the shoulder and rib cage form but the tutorials and art books tell me 2 things: draw some sort of an egg shape or a rectangular prism
ive been trying both and i can only guess that the egg shape is to form a more realistic form of the torso as a whole, and the rect. prism is to be able to draw the torso easier when applied to perspective/harder poses
so ig i developed my own form which i explained in the thread
but i still dk whether its realistic enough/acceptable to be a base form of the whole torso, comparing to the egg shape and the rect. prism
sorry if the overall anatomy is bad/u have a hard time understanding it, im still learnin
I advise if you are wanting to keep track of things youre learning but arent asking for help that you find some kind of note taking website such as evernote and store/organize your notes there. This place is where people are supposed to be directly asking for help and critiques on their drawings. If you have a question for things please provide an example and not just make a statement and even have a question attached so we can know what youre looking for out of this
well im sorry for not directly asking what i want help on
what i want help or opinions about is in this
ive simplified the torso form as the 2 examples above; egg shape or cube shape. the 2 examples (for me) serves different purposes; egg shape for a more realistic form of the rib cage, and cube shape for making the foreshortening or difficult poses easier
after lots of references and anatomy study i made myself a form which im more comfortable using, which is also in the picture
my question is: would it be okay/anatomically correct if i use said form?
and if its not, then can you recommend me which form to use, egg or cube?
my paper above the egg (rib) represents the trapezius, pectoral and deltoid muscle fyi. ive been using for quite some time now, and i dont have much problem
but i still have problems with a lot of things so i dont know if i can even trust my own form or not
