perspective ?
i just want to finish him already but i dont want to add everything and find out i screwed up
please
OMG I SAW THIS ONE EARLIER
So what is it that youre trying to make it look like style wise? Cause i kinda have to know what is stylistic and what is from lack of knowledge
this hand has no palm.
i didnt realize ohhh man 💔💔
i’ll try to find something
im not using any refs ^^’
Refs go a long way. Saves your life a million times
the glass creates a tangent with the shoulder that makes this hard to read
maybe pull the hand out to the left a bit to break it free
not perfect but a place to start....
THAT’S SO SMART i was honestly scared to do that bc i thought i’d be messy 😭
need to flip it for a left arm
i’ll try it
Ciborg_Gal is right as usual. There is NO REASON to NOT USE REFERENCES.
<== big fan of Ciborg-Gal, When she speaks, you should listen 😉
noted lol
does this look better ?
it feels a lot clearer w the arm pulled in like that ^^

ykwim
so just to be clear is the thing they are holding a cup or paper

this drawing
i saw a thing on pinterest and it made me think of him and ratio haha
ok. makes it easier to know what is going on

star rail/genshin geeks all the way
yessss🔥🔥
one more question lol. how much are you wanting the feet to resemble feet?like ik the style you showed has some people who has it look like feet while others make it look like nubs
yeah ! the 2nd one
Ok so forgive the not so great drawings i did. This is after all my first actual attempt at doing a drawn tutorial. So baby steps
but anyway when drawing the sunglasses you need to first know the shape and size of the eyes. If the eyes are huge you need to make sure the sunglasses cover every bit of it. While it may not seem all that important it really helps to at least have the eyes generally drawn out when doing the sunglasses so you can make them actually fit their face.
Now with the torsos in this style it is either a little bit bigger or smaller than the head. Depends on what sort of scaling youre trying to do. Yes you should still follow the rules of anatomy but simplify and shrink almost every aspect of it. Still map out the different parts and muscle groups but dont focus too much on the details of it.
With the feet if youre wanting it to be nubby but still actually resembling feet you will want to understand the structure of them. There being four main parts. Ankle, heel, arch, and toes. The ankle does the bending for what angle the foot will me(leg does the big turns tho. Unless theyve got a broken ankle. If so take them to the ER immediately
) the heel does little to no movement. The arc does move a little but it is based on what the ankle and/or toes are doing. Toes are among the most flexible parts in the body and can do a lot of different angles. You can absolutely exaggerate features of the foot but it still will follow these same rules regardless of what you end up doing. Unless they are straight up nubs
thank you so much for the tutorial, i put the flat colors in — i really just wanted to give him some stupid glasses haha
i appreciate it
your palm-less hand now looks way better.
and your left arm problem seems all better now too
