#Incorrect TXT DNS records given when setting up Email Routing

Hi!

When in Email Routing i get my MX and TXT records, the TXT records seem to be cut off for some reason (see attached image)

It's not a display thing, the value inside the html seems cut off too... weird:

    "v=DKIM1; h=sha256; k=rsa; p=M

I also tried adding the missing " myself (see second image attached) but it did not work :(

Any help?

can't you just click the button and it'll do it for you?

glacial epoch
#

It does nothing

#

:(

#

That happened on this version of the UI

#

the one you get if you click this button

You should never have to create the DKIM record manually

Nothing happened the first time i touched "Add records and Enable", so then later i went and created those records manually

#

thats why i have those records

#

hey, wait, i think i found something

#

the old version of the UI notifies me of this:

#

i have conflicting records! the new UI didnt tell me that

#

my domain comes from namecheap

#

i should delete them, right?

stoic pecan
#

If you don't use them

glacial epoch
#

they are just accumulating dust 😆

#

they are probably residuals from the migration from Namecheap

#

hope nothing breaks 🛐

stoic pecan
#

If you don't currently have email there's nothing that can break

#

Great

#

OK! It now works

#

the problem is in the new UI

#

how can the bug be reported to cloudflare?

#

is here someone that can be @pinged?

stoic pecan
#

No, don't ping anyone. I'll bring this to someone's attention...
