Migration of Pages Custom Domains (300+) to Workers Custom Domains

Does not mention How to migrate my current 300+ (vanity custom domains) to Workers custom domains? I've tried many ways and not found an easy way to do this. My customers have already set up their CNAME in their DNS to my pages.dev domain name, and this works well. I cant ask them all to change , but I can work with workers and my toml file to set all this up.. Is there an API I can use.. would love if this document I linked above would be updated to help users migrate custom domains to workers (and not just 1, but many) this is the only thing holding us from fully migrating to workers.

There is no way to avoid them changing their DNS records, unfortunately

At minimum, they would need to CNAME a domain you own

Hi, i do own the custom pages domain which they are already cnaming too. why would they need to change to another one you mention they would ned to change their DNS from pages.dev to something else? my worker domain?
