#Weird billing

I purchased another year of my domain a few weeks ago, but for some reason when I tried my change the credit card, it instead billed some random Wells Fargo checking account. I have never had this account and never added a checking account to my Cloudflare account so I have no idea where this came from. I have tried opening a support ticket, but can’t access it now because I don’t pay for any plan (this is ridiculous customer support when I am trying to fix you error to pay you properly, but I digress). It seems my domain is functioning fine but clearly you misbilled my services to someone else.

Cloudflare's billing system is undergoing some changes/migration. During this period, there have been recurring cases of extra bills, incorrect bills, or other issues.

To resolve these issues, create a Support ticket by using the following link (you must be logged into your Cloudflare account): https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support. There is a backlog of tickets so it might take a while to get a response.

Note that all accounts, even Free plan accounts, can create billing tickets. Tickets are the only way to resolve billing issues; we cannot help you in this Discord.

The flow is maybe a bit confusing though, if you go that ilnk => Technical support => open a case => Billing, should get you there

When I try to review my ticket I previously put under billing, it redirects me to a page saying my dashboard is not connected since it is a free plan, or something like that

Wells Fargo is weird though, did you maybe confuse Cloudflare's bank option with what it was paid with? Cloudflare at the end of unpaid invoices used to include that you can pay Cloudflare's account at Wells Fargo Bank
