  • on domain req i have response 200 ms / 30000k ms
  • on source req reponse 6 ms +

I don't know if I did something wrong, I don't rule out this option, if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, please give me suggestions (I'm currently using pro plan)

To clarify, you're seeing results where the requests made to a domain proxied by Cloudflare that go to your origin are slower than requests directly to your origin? If so, that is the expected behavior. Even though it's only a tiny bit of extra time, requests that are proxied through Cloudflare, which don't hit a cache and have to go to your origin, are going to take longer than just going to the origin. That's the perf cost of having caching, security, DDoS protection, etc., etc., etc.

ok also before big ddos (problably i turn on randoms firewall rules) response time became bigger

#

and now I'm wondering what else is turned on that the time won't go back down

#

(now i dont have ddos issue)

That does seem excessively high. Such a high response time increase is certainly not normal. Does this behavior replicate when you manually view the site, or is it just being reported via this tool?

yes in browser is same problem also its 1 / 5 times

hmm

#

I once received such a response

#

and this

#

it could be because this reate limit rules is over loaded?

Unless that amount of traffic is expected, it looks like you're actively being DDoSed. That's a huge spike.

yhm

#

this ddos has been going on for a year now only that I had to change the rules that blocked it

#

100m req+ per day

amazon + uptimerobot

My guess would be origin slowness not Cloudflare slowness

Other than further tightening down security options and increasing rules, I'm not sure what the best route would be. It seems curious that requests that are being allowed are taking so long when requests to the orign are fine, though. Someone else more experienced in mitigating these types of attacks may know more.

You must have some serious enemies, haha.

i mean cloudflare can't handle more also idk I don't know if as much on rate limiting rules

#

since I changed something in cloudflare rules then suddenly response time increased so I still think I set something wrong in cloudflare (I'll see if it gets better now)

no way

Probably rate limit rules are not optimized (I am not sure)
