if the plants are next to each other, manual pollination does nothing since it would already pollinate off that flower. All pollination does is directly set the parent flower overriding any nearby proximity parent.

tulips only have a 30min manual pollination cycle, roses 45min, and hydrangeas 1hr. Also, flowers can pollinate from any other type of flower as a parent. So a tulip can pass genes to a hydrangea and vice versa.

I finally opened up the 2nd floor at my house but editing the height of the items/furtnitures is limited. As an example I wanted to place a lamp on the wall (on the 2nd floor) but it stucked at around head level.

Is there any way to place them higher?

I'm accepting any suggestions if by chance you're successfully done something similar or have any idea how could i make it.

The level only unlocks a quest to purchase the expansion from the NPC Connor.

The extension increases the area, then it's up to you to add the stairs and floors at the height you want.

I had to create my floor using about 50 walls ^^ In addition, in some places I doubled the walls to get a texture for the ceilings of the first floor and the floors of the second floor.

There's a small triangle board you can craft that should help, comes in both wood and metal so you'll get the two tone look. This is more of a telecaster shaped example but you'll get the jist of it.

I have this bug, one of my friends left my homestead and I could plant extra fields

now I can't harvest or remove the extra fields at all, even when he rejoined and left

OK after mucho investigation, it turns out it's one of my roomie's plots and he has 0 recollection of ever planting them

he removed them 0 issue

there really should be a way to show who owns what item...

or at least let the owner move it around, if they can't recycle it

Yes, That tracks. I only have my own accounts in my homestead. The 5 plots my main account planted but couldn’t harvest were transferred to two of my alt accounts

Prepatch it was 4xp per focus regardless what you crafted. Not sure yet for S2 with the non focus exp changes

I am so overwhlemed.. my friend couldn't harvest his flowers... and when I harvested.. with assist it just gave me exp.

Seems to be some weird interactions with the flowers.
Its basically a problem for any flowers planted before the patch, will be fine going forward. (Since you can only plant in your own fields from now on).
Basically field ownership, and plant ownership both matter, and almost seem random for who gets it when someone harvests.

i have my alt in my homestead so its 2 people rn, if i buy more plots on my main can i place them instead of my alt for their 'share'

you can only plant in fields you placed, so your alt can buy them and place them. If your alt originally placed some of your fields (like the default fields for the homestead) those are the alts fields and only they will be able to plant into them, and you can buy more on your main to place.

the issue is a one time thing, basically planting/harvesting is only supposed to be possible on fields you place, and with your flowers. There was nothing that prevented it before the patch. So the ownership of the field/flowers conflict.

It seems that flowers are cooked even if u were the one who planted plots + seeds... I was only able to harvest a few from the 20 I had

I just left them there and placed new plots. Too lazy to deal with that

luckily I placed them diagonally so now I can place the new plots around them to get pollinated

Ideally delete all the plots u placed in s1, the flower seeds too as S2 might've changed how they operate and conflict with the new ones

However there is an annoying thing which prevents u from even deleting them

If someone else in ur homestead placed them, only they can do that

Yes, whoever originally placed the plots now owns the flowers that you had prepatch. So one of your roommates owns them now
