when you are not re-growing the center you can fertilize the outside. So when you have a black in the center, then fertilize the outside (Unless you won't check back on the flowers for a while, then no need to fertilizer).

If you have the grid active, essentially the area of the grid. I don’t remember upgrading leading to any increase in buildable area outside.

You can place some items (e.g. the giant rock) so that they overlap out into unbuildable areas.

Wish we could build out in the hills and on the beach.

mostly useless as its quite annoying to do and can be avoided entirely just by proximity pollination instead. Might be good in S2 when we can visit other homesteads (although I'm not sure that we can collect pollen while visiting).

some traits are sell more. so if you have a mother plant with the perfect traits, you can technically sell seeds

Yeah only the person who plants can harvest them and until season 2 the fields are hard limited split among all roommates. In season 2, you can place more fields and each grow your own (so each player could have 20 if you have homestead lvl 8).

You can still have the 2nd character plant around the flowers and it still pollinates

So can easily get alts/friends black flowers, just can't have them harvest yours.

No, just adv fert and 1 watering for tulips. But for hydrangeas you can do adv fert + initial watering, and then every 6hrs you can water again.

Actually remembering to go back and water after 6hrs for hydrangeas is the difficult part.

it's possible you might have used normal fert instead of adv fert. I think they fixed the bug where it sometimes bugged and applied normal when you have both in inventory. But just remember to select adv fert before clicking on apply fert.

Hopefully they allow us to soon discard normal fert.

The biggest plants currently are the level 50 ones in alchemy and there's a limit of around 200-250 furniture inside and outside for the homestead, those limits are not shared between the two.

you can place around 200 furniture items outside and 200 items inside, this number does not go higher right now,
All you can do is just optimize ur items now, replace some with other until it looks "finished"

Awesome, thanks for the info! I feel like we have way more than 200 objects placed, unless some things count and some don't. We've made entire sets of cabinets and furniture out of picture frames, and very heavily customized the layout with partitions, plus all the clutter objects we have around. Everything about it is pretty vague xD are there any plans you're aware of to increase limits or improve the housing feature in the (near) future?

tyty, the idea behind it is trying to do some type of adventurers hall to reunite

the room with the map is planned to be some type of "planning" room? to say it in a way, lore wise it would be a place were we "plan our next adventures/missions, and were we leave our gear and equipment after coming back", imagine a big table in the middle with a lot of papers, and the ret of the room with tools & possibly armor stands when they decide to put them

the stone floored room is planned to be a sauna like a place adventurer go before or after a quest and leaving his gear on the room before it

2nd plant plan is having like 3~ bunk beds on the wall, with some lil tables too, and at the end 2 rooms for homestead owners

my hope is when we can get visitors on s2 it gets crowded a little by guildies or friends in general chilling

I think that railing would work fine with wallpaper on the partition. There are some dedicated railings you can build, but a custom railing would take up too many item slots imo.

So you can buy the stairs from the flower girl or craft them yourself.

You will need One Chestnut panel (If you want) and two stairs!

if you're kinda broke you can put a wall on a 90 Degree rotation. Like this

And then use the Height on the side and set it to something like 159 or 200 that should make it go up and down!

Or if you're extremely broke you can play around with another wall and use it as a ramp or as placeholders

It just sometimes randomly says Z and X are at -1 to -2 for no reason after like 1 min

What stands out to me is that the piano is this very nice darker color, I think it would work well if the feet were darker too, but I'm looking through the items and don't see many darker wood thin things

expanding a second level is very hard in the game since we can only go to 1499 height limit,
but you could make a staircase that goes to the left side, and make it like a balcony with railing / umbrellas or a bar or something,
anyways your house is very cute tho

ah, it happens, the building gets better when u work with it more,
if u think u r still missing items you can go to multi take the box, and just make rectangles into the ground if u think their went into the floor
friends of mine did this because they were bored in the beginning and i had to fish some items out xd

Yeah it's rlly annoying how the texture won't line up no matter how hard u try

What I did to make it less noticeable is moving the piece with the mis-matched color to the opposite side

since they are not a partition length apart

at first i though id use a partition that just starts high but when it perfectly aligns with the ones alongside it, it glitches out it seems

Depends on the door size, I just went with sideways partitions above the doors and made sliding panel doors instead of a regular opening door, the doorway is bigger than a usual door would be though

But my character is like 9ft tall far as I can tell, so it vibes fine
