Yep, all new seeds contain fully dominant traits. Full dominant tulips are always red. In order to get different traits, you need to cross-breed them by placing them next to one another while they’re growing

might want to look into using a screen color picker. Then go through some of the images in here with responses to learn the ratios. I've been using it more for the ones I can't instantly tell. For instance a lot of the ones that look gray (commonly mistaken for black), actually have a lot more red. But black always has a bit more Green/Blue.
The one I use is ShareX, you can keybind it and comes with a ton of image tools.

Check the rarity of the flowers when you harvest if any are blue/purple rarity replant that same seed and move the plot aside and put the plots in a cross pattern like other people have shown here, recycle any green rarity plots and replant new seeds

The middle of the cross should be the blue/purple rarity and water AND fertilize just the middle the outside plots only water

If you see that all the cross have the same color then it's doomed and you need to restart fresh. Replant the seed, recycle and buy new seed even for the middle and start anew.

the problem with making children is even with a new seed getting E_, you still dont know if THAT flower is EE or Ee either, so the only way is to test.
Plant a bunch until one random seed TELLS you you have an Ee parent (if you have an Ee parent and a fresh Ee seed, there's a 1/4 chance to find out when you get an ee flower color combination)

so its ultimately trial and error/guessing, or you actually test

the problem is I KNOW I had 2 flowers at Ee and i still havent made a black flower 10 or more generations in

im worried I corrupted it so im planting new flowers to find out, hoping i hit a quick green/blue rarity but ee color

so its not as easy as just plant 4 children, get it to the same color, replace middle, and then pray

thats why they suggest u have 2 different purple rarity middles (i had the exact same one) so you can cross breed them after for gambling after its gone on too long (swapping middle flowers)

that way if i have 4 aabbccddEEff children, and like a aabbCcddeeff parent, its still possible to just gamble into a perfect black flower

short answer is technically yes, but prob just better to move it into inner cross 1 unless there's already a purp there

Ah, then click their face in the same area to bring up the permissions screen. When you click on them, a button in the bottom right should say "terminate shared homestead." This should boot them.

It was the same when someone posted you can use tullip genes with roses, so you don't have to start from square one. I am testing it right now with one center near perfect tulip and one black tulip in the center
