so after like early game fall damage is turned off

but you can always test it by turning off all the potentials and then jumping off a cliff

Same here, my mentoring experience was amazing in S1 and I mentored alot of people.

Turns out, if you teach new players ( omg ) they can clear while being far under the "normal" Ability Score

As long as they hit the IS requirements, which should be easy if you login more than once per week, should be fine.

just tried the game for the first time today and from the couple hours i played im really disappointed, the story quests are pretty bad imo - half of the interactions arent even voiced and whenever you get a cinematic for a boss fight, it dies in 2 hits

This is basically how it is. The depth comes from learning your rotations and knowing what stat thresholds to hit basically. Raids are probably the closest you'll get in terms of engaging content

You won't see the thing you put up for sale yourself. There's typically a 10min wait time after you list an item before it gets seen by other people, unless otherwise stated (such as reforge stones having a 1 hour wait time)

Yes grind gear, make sure all your gear is at least 120 first and grind dungeons for their respective reforge stones to upgrade said gear. Then grind 140 gear, etc etc

For imagine mats there will be a 1 hour wait time, you can check the follow tab in the market board. If you're selling high demand things though, very likely a bot will snipe them

You get raid gear components for completing the Dreambloom raids, clash + brutal gives you pieces for 140 raid gear and nightmare gives you components for 160. The honor coin shop will also give you raid gear components, you'll see some fragments in there with dreamer/Weaver in their names.

So basically just farm out gold gear and get stronger, illusion score really matters this season. Then when you're at a point where you can challenge the raids, you do that so that you can get raid gear

Raid gear is strong for the majority of the classes, as they'll give higher stats as well as giving you a set bonus at 2 and 4 pieces

I'm noticing that even with lv. 160 equipment, I'm outputting pretty much no damage, so I'm assuming refinements play a huge role towards that but I'm unsure what substats I should prioritize as a frost mage.

maxroll should give a lot of info, you need reforge stones for your gear and purple t5 imagines mainly free upgrades from season shop weekly and stimen vaults

you get reforge stones from weekly honor coins, weekly gear shop, daily instable dungeons and weekly chaotic dungeons m6+ clears

use your reclaim hub if you haven't, should probably be able to max out your skills to level 6

also if your illusion score is lower than the required amount, you deal like 95% less damage

First of all welcome to the game!

• There are class guides, what class are you?
• If you don't have enough Illusion Score, you will do greatly reduced damage, it's possible you are fighting something you aren't ready for yet.
• If you are Frostbeam, It's an AoE only class and the weakest single target DPS in the game, so that could be a factor.
• Refinements don't play a huge role in that, It's mostly Imagines and Reforges
• Have you gotten everything you can from the reclaim hub?
• Can I see a picture of your stats?

If the level 20 boss happened to be a world boss then it's not something meant to be soloed so that would explain it

Your stats aren't the best but you technically haven't done any endgame dungeons / raids yet so you have alot of room to build up, especially from reclaim hub.

As for what to buy, you will be able to buy everything but you should prioritize - oh wait you got most of the important stuff already

we have 160 gear but we dont have enough stones. you probably got some gear for a level 140 raid piece set, you can use those level 140 stones to get it to 100 reforge

level 140 raid piece set and 160 shares the raid effect so you can mix them

idk how much reclaim hub coins you have left remaining. if you still have a lot, you can go for the rest of the modules. save them if you ever want to change classes or you can dismantle it

Depends on the class, marksman can hold crystal without really losing any DPS at all

or well, falconry can

I don't know about the other classes, but I know mage is bad at it

Falconry can outrange most attacks on Phase 1, dodge lines with double arrow and keep dpsing

Transition stage it has a long enough range to be at a safe distance while still holding crystal, double arrow abuse again for mobility

And with radiance sped up you don't really have the risk of

"if I use long cast and need to dodge i get fricked since i'm crystal holder"

To explain a little bit in depth, your hand was in furiten before you pon'd the white.

Your hand was presumably:
123 99 WW

And if you hovered the ? to see winning tiles, you would've had:
9 or W

Even if 9 doesn't lead to a hand worth value (with yaku), because it exists in that set of hand completion tiles and you discarded the 9 tile, your entire hand enters a state of furiten, where you can no longer win off of discards, and thus must self draw.

You're allowed to still pon, but now you must discard a tile and then redraw it in order to claim the win, or achieve a different set of winning tiles to exit furiten.
