Usually i like to play healers in mmos and verdant/beat naturally caught my eye but apparently verdant is not that played from i saw in videos, is there any reason why please?(performance? boring? difficult to gear? less useful in raids?)
Is the game p2w, i noticed there was some aspects of the game that helped the player in terms of combat performance, i think the term was Battle Imagine? Not sure...

I know this is a bit late but I'd like to give my opinions on some of the questions that I didn't see answered with a ton of context.

Currently Verdant Oracle is the top meta healer, most notibly Lifebind which not only has the lowest gear requirements in the game but is also able to provide amazing sustain in 5 man content ( largely considered the endgame ) while boosting the damage of their teammates.

That's not to say that Beat Performer is bad, there's Concerto which can be summarized as "I have no sustain but great buffs" so it's more of a Raid oriented class ( which does make it played less)

On the other hand the other spec is Dissonance, an aggressive offensive healer that's able to do somewhat comparable damage to actual DPS classes, but of course that means it's investment requirements are substantially higher and it's much more difficult to play than what is essentially a buffslave ( Lifebind ) which is why it's not played as much.

No, the game is not P2W it's more "pay to get slightly ahead" Battle Imagines is more of a "long term progression" and leviathans can spend tons of money to max it out on day 1 if they wanted to, but F2P can get it 100% free after a while of playing.

Smite - Loved in 20 man content
Dissonance - Loved in 5 man content but also works in 20
Concerto - Loved in 20 man content

That's how I'd describe them

Smite has a psuedo buff and can get away in 5 man content but that more often than not requires them to be built supportively which is rare

But all of this is for like, end endgame levels of content

If you aren't doing that then honestly class doesn't matter that much and you can go with whatever is the most fun for sure

There's a Master dungeon difficulty modifier system essentially, goes up to 20

You don't get rewarded past 15/16 but people like to push to 20 for the challenge

Stats go up and you get strong passives from it

It ties into illusion strength which affects all your stats and if yours is lower you just get obliterated

Heal less too

I'd recommend playing what you have fun with honestly, what's good changes every few months with the balancing.

Yeah, Falconry is great now and will still be good next season, while being the most "F2P friendly" DPS, but it ( alongside goonstrike ) are probably the most boring classes in the game unironically.

This game isn't so meta focused that you would struggle as any DPS to get into teams as long as you know how to play it.

I have seen people quit because they play a class and expect it to be OP then when it's toned down they feel like they invested into it for no reason.

It's not recommended to pull the Gacha unless you want the SSR Imagine which is more for healers / tanks most of the time, but there are some cases where people are in a spot to go for Rorola ( not new players )

You'd be better off saving the red orbs for discounted Imagine materials from the Mystery Store or even better, to pull a future SSR Imagine.

• The P2W isn't bad, there's only the "Ocean Weapon" where you spend 3000$ to get 10-15% more DPS compared to other players which in my opinion isn't that big of a deal especially when it's not competitive. Heck, class imbalance matters so much more than a whale weapon ( that F2P can technically go for, just over a very long time frame )

• Many players is subjective, I'd estimate there's 5000-10,000 players that are active so it's not like the game is at risk of EoS

• It's not that grindy honestly, especially if you don't aim to get perfect BIS stats on your gear ( small dps difference but min max ) and they are making it easier next season anyway.

What I did to level up weaving is alternating between gathering osteo logs and granite from my homestead. Osteo logs for resin and granite for alum. Buy some coarse animal hide using luno/homestead coins and you can craft refined hard leather. About 1600 xp every 16 hours.

This also lets you level up gem crafting at the same time

Q1: Sort of, but you can purchase those coupons with f2p currency if it appears on Mystery Store (sort of a store that refreshes daily). Otherwise it costs Bound Orbs, which you can get a certain amount fixed per week through shop, and ofc exploration, another avenue is through consignment (sell "focus" materials, then the money you get from there you can use it to buy those bound orbs) (I don't recommend doing this much for those coupons imho, just go pray you get those coupons in mystery store).

Q2: Yes you can change classes by using Bound Orbs. But take note that you also have to consider the Imagines these classes need.

Q3: Gacha is only cosmetics.

Q4: Open World, but I think it's kinda HSR-like but you can jump

• Sigil - Never, just AFK farm and all sigils are free...
