It's basically the same, solo Normal is the fastest way imo unless you have a good team

Most wanted would be any geared DPS because you need to fill way more DPS slots than anything else.

Raids are often 20 player

• 2 or 3 tank
• 3 or 4 heal
• Everything else DPS

Even the weakest DPS / Tank / Heal won't struggle to find parties, only exception would be Concerto / Sm*te ( healers ) because you only want 1 per team

The problem is, AS is the only metric we have for comparison unless you have ran with the individual before.

It's not like Raid teams where you can ask the player to submit a Dummy test parse or show their damage beforehand, if you are recruiting random players you can only go off their AS.

We don't have time to test or do tryouts for every single applicant in what's meant to be a random M6 farming team, there's no way to tell who is good and who is bad.

But the majority of the time people who are under AS are just casual / new and autoplay or don't know how to play their class, I can count the number of exceptions on one hand.

If someone isn't willing to try to get decent AS then they likely aren't willing to do other things, and I don't feel they are entitled to be carried just because they show up.

I don't see 42k players wanting to run with other 42k players as gatekeeping, it's just non uber causals wanting to run with other non uber casuals.

It's not preventing casuals from clearing either, they can make their own parties and clear with other casuals just fine, it's just they will have the burden of 15 minute runs instead of us.

9,1k AS from gear with the lvl 80, perfection 1

I don’t think un-reforged lvl 80 gear gives a lot of AS, so a few thousand of that AS are definitely from refines

First of, I was talking about only the thresholds contributing significantly to AS, I know normal refines aren’t much.
Second of, it depends on what you refine how kuch AS it gives
Third: It might even be class dependent how much refines give because, for example, Frost mage refines give more mATK than Marksman refines give ATK (Don’t know why, but is the case)

Also, to get a better Idea of how much base level gear contributes to AS I crafted a lvl 40, 60 and 80 purple weapon:

AS for each:
lvl 40: 1238
lvl 60: 1369
lvl 80: 1606
(All at base perfection, so 1-4)

As you can see, the increase in AS between the levels aren’t particularly big, especially considering lvl 80 gear has ~66% more stats on base level than lvl 40 on base level.

If Base lvl 40 weapon had that much AS on its own, people would already have had, like, 10k AS with unreforged lvl 40 gear, which simply wasn’t the case

• I know you were talking about thresholds contributing "significantly" to AS, I just tested 9 to 10 ( which is a 5 interval ) and it only gave 35 AS, it's much lower than you think.

• Yes, it depends on if you refine weapon or basically everything else, refines still give almost nothing in terms of AS.

• It's not class dependent, magic classes just get more Refined Magic ATK, this is true for every magic class including healers, it's the same amount of AS though.

• Homestead still doesn't have the option to align on grid. Why have a grid then?
• Several ingredients required for crafting can only be bought from an NPC
• New mastery reward mount is a reskin. Seriously?
• Basically all of starland mahjong club is just a copy paste of the artisan district from Asterleeds
• When I click "Don't show again", I mean don't show again, not don't show again today
• Forced minimum prices in the market are the only reason some items never sell
• We can now solo most S1 bosses. Too bad there are no bosses to be soloed, cos some areas only have 5 lines
• "You are in combat" bug for bone dragon was still not fixed
• Crystals you need to carry during withered bloomshard are duplicating when the server is lagging (always) in certain conditions (I've seen 7 crystals)
• One of Bahamar Highlands delivery commissions doesn't let you parkour even with no cargo at all

• Is Rock Serpent Lair and Devo cage having a period of time where you can't heal because there's nothing you can target? If so that's just a game mechanic that counters you, I don't think there's anything wrong with this and as an Iaido we see soooo much mechanics that counter us pretty hard lol

• I don't think the Roguelike mode having some RNG is a negative you can already do under 3 minute solos on easy too skipping all mobs

• Yellow weapons always came in 4 versions, I think that it's a good argument that you shouldn't be forced to build a character a certain way so I agree, I think this is probably designed like that to help casuals know how to build their character, I don't think there's any classes that is really affected too badly by this being a thing.

1 - It seems that way, noone knows. In any case, if you wanna max out friend points, better go raiding

3 - Sure, it's a counter. In devourer, you survive if you do the mechanics, but in serpent you can only hope your barrels do the thing... yesterday I had 2 second delay between pressing the button and the barrel exploding on 100ms ping. With that, it takes too long for the serpent to get up and ends up wiping the team because I can do nothing about it... people had to pop potions for us to clear

4 - I am not talking about the mods themselves, but the drops; the dropcount difference between min and max is wild. Also, about the tank inbalance - a tank basically doesn't need anything to clear, while I wasn't able to even damage the boss as a smite (the support bonus doesn't even apply to smite, cos every skill damages)

6 - I am not talking about bosses. I am talking about trash mob mages with homing projectiles.

Most of the time it's huge bias against melee classes especially ones with burst windows while ranged classes excel everywhere

I know you were talking about the drop rates for buffs in Slumberdream when I was saying that I wouldn't call tanks imbalanced either but they are really strong.

And to be fair Sm*te had their time to shine in Loom where it was pretty mandatory to clear, let tanks have their time in the spotlight no?

Also, some DPS class need essentially nothing to clear, I do under 3 min runs on my Falconry ( alt so less geared too ) skipping all the mobs and chests

i can almost see playing icicle and beam with the new saves for loadouts, but feel like the gear and sigil prio would be kinda hard to manage for those two dps classes.
