Crit Goon was dead on S2 when it was said, before a round of class buffs Goonstrike was alot weaker than Iaido DPS wise even on it's best build.

We didn't see or interact with that state of the game, because we got all the class balancing ON release whereas they didn't.

Our 120, our 140 gear parses will do way more damage because we have class revamps and abilities they did not have access to until near 160 gear.

And Crit Goon was much worse than it's normal variant before 160 gear, especially without lifewave or Ocean

Basically this, there's very little room for optimization on goon... especially on full auto / semi auto rotations.

Any large DPS discrepancy is because of class balancing / Gear / Rotation / Modules and so on.

I don't particularly remember the mid season balance patch that they've done during CN S2, but I do remember following the parses posted by a lot of people on bilibili and their stat spread prior to then and wondering wtf they were on. Granted, yes dps gains wouldn't have been all too much higher going for a proper spread.

Also yes, crit moon has always been locked more towards endgame gear, I'm more than certain majority of the playerbase over here for Global knows that though. We've yelled that from the rooftops more times than I can count

You have to do an extra step to make your character run, whereas previously you just have to pull the joystick to max in order to have your character run

It may not be annoying to you since you're on PC, but it's indeed pretty annoying on mobile, like you have to always do an extra step in order to make your character run

I believe the new areas are better.. you’re basically trying to narrow the batch of fish rarity you can get. Some new areas only have purple fishes so that would be considered better imo.

Sadly there's not really anything in-depth at the moment besides a rather sparse document. Only things of note are new imagines, new sigils, new DPS class, there won't be a new region map only a few tiny maps, hideous looking new dungeon weapon skins, and some "rumors" that somehow still have no confirmation of their validity despite S3 having been out in the CN server for 4 days now.
