Buying higher level foods off market straight up costs a lot and is rarely there. Instead you can buy the ingredients from npcs at culinary with the non-market currency

My point isn’t about the sigils themselves. S2 world bosses are simply more attractive than S1 because you have an additional drop chance for those sigils, which can be sold on the market for around 70–98k Luno.

Iaido potential for growth is it's problem in S2.

Iaido having low crit rate is heavily penalized early on when the season starts, then it's damage becomes inflated with a few gear changes only to plateau shortly after as you reach around 100% crit rate.

You then have less stats to stack.

• Haste has limited benefits to stacking and you hit enough easily
• Mastery diminishes hard as you stack it
• Versatility is a final multiplier that also diminishes hard and has very small gains
• Luck is virtually useless and we have -20% scaling anyway

Compared to other classes like Icicle or Goonstrike that has high damage from Luck then can multiply their damage by stacking crit, that's how Iaido falls off.

A piece of equipment that gives Iaido 10,000 DPS will be giving other classes 20,000 DPS... that's how the gap widens

Cast speed affects skill activation time and channeling skills, an example of a class this is good on would be Frostbeam letting it channel it's beam faster -> more hits -> more overall DPS. It also unironically works on other classes for example Iaido.

Attack speed affects your animation time letting you input and execute your next animation sooner, an example of a class this is good on is Icicle.

Some classes can't take advantage of cast speed, I don't think Goonstrike or Dissonance has channeling skills ( random example there are probably more )

The sigil you've put on your raid gear is what stays, you would have to make another raid set to have other sigils on

Presets allows you to run different talent tree stuff, just not sigils, make sure you actually check your stats after swapping presets, for some reason it can bug out

If it's an alt it won't be geared enough to sustain or deal any meaningful damage, if the goal is to be carried by bots then it won't be much faster than doing it with your geared character if faster at all, it could even be slower.

In which case I'd recommend at the very least Marksman- yeah

I haven't seen any iaido discrimination at all, that was only a thing like... at 40 gear when we were actually the weakest class in the game and taking a marksman would mean you just do 3-4x damage ( it was also true for goonstrike though, people avoided stormblade in general back then )
