• Ocean has levels to being upgraded, you need to spend roughly 70 million luno to get it "up to par" that's what the whales spend on. Ocean 100 is not strong, whales will have Ocean 160

You are thinking about Ocean weapon the wrong way.

It's not something that you should look to attain without spending any Luno at all.

If you want Ocean weapon to be strong, you need to spend Luno period, that goes for F2P too ( I'm personally going for Ocean, it will take me a year and a half but I'm going for it )

You are looking at the Ocean weapon wrong if you are thinking "It's something I can get entirely over time without spending any Luno on it" because you won't have any materials for the level upgrades.

You would need to have bought at least 45 Stellar Cores to get it to 160

The difference between 160 and 180 is very small

Essentially how Ocean should be viewed is instead "Buy materials for weapon, clear raids to get materials to upgrade weapon"

But like they say, you obtain "more than enough" Glinting Stellar Cores, meaning technically you do get a discount waiting as long as possible.

Ocean weapon was mentioned by the developers in china to be a "long term progression weapon" they won't release a different weapon but will almost certainly just release more levels to it in Season 3.

People who already have Ocean probably won't have to pay more for those levels and just get it from raids

People who didn't buy a single Stellar Core will just always be behind

That's why personally, my plan is since you can get T5 Muku Chief F2P in season 1, spend season 2 3 and 4 working on Rorola ( red orb only ) while using all luno for Ocean Weapon

Depends on the support really. Tanks can switch to dps variant by running different season tree and dps imagines, and switch back to support anytime so Tina is useful for a tank.

Healers are divided into dps healers and support healers. Dps healers would likely not run Tina.

To tell you the truth I didn't look into or calculate Ocean weapon balancing at all, I don't plan to get one in a usable state for another year and a half It does suggest that you get more over time than it takes to keep up with the upgrades though yeah, you would have to find and ask a leviathan at what rate they encounter "overflow" I think most on CN stop at 160 weapon because the difference from 160 to 180 was extremely minimal, in which case I would guess you have enough for 140 and 160 but end up being slightly short for 180

Doing some quick math...

• Day 47 unlocks 160 far sea
• Day 68 unlocks 180 far sea

That's 3 weeks, you would have 12/30 the needed cost to get it on release, but that assumes you didn't have any saved up beforehand which wouldn't be the case.

From the start of Season 1 until 180 far sea is released, you would get around 40

So that's already about enough for 20+25 ( 140 and 160 )

So the earlier you got Ocean weapon the easier it would be essentially, I think saying weekly rewards >= cost is pretty accurate depending on when you got it yeah

Iaido isn't "doomed" and won't be significantly worse than other classes, it falls around the middle and won't be spectacular nor will it be underwhelming.

It's strong enough for a full team of F2P Iaido on CN to clear M20, it's just not going to be extremely competitive in the damage ranking, so it would depend on fun vs damage I don't want to play a class where I can just press H and do 95% of it's damage potential ever.

One thing that I'd mention though, If you were an Iaido main swapping to goonstrike isn't actually going to make you that much stronger because of imagine discrepancy
