Definitely start off with a guide in mind so you dont make any booboos.
Monthly pass and stuff are nice to have although dont necessarily give a huge impact, its only a small amount to pay.

Normally to change a class you would skill reset using an ingame item. It would return all books to you but only as the class you invested them as. You would then have to convert your books to another class at a great loss in order to actually change classes.
