I think you misunderstood the content creator.

Switching between classes is fine, great even in some instances.

Permanently switching and converting your skill books to the new class, that's what isn't advised.

Honestly there aren't any negatives going back and forth between classes... As a frostbeam it's borderline mandatory to have concerto unlocked or you will spend 10x the time grinding gear

For Frostbeam Spec, you swap to Beat Performer to get Crit and Haste for Gauntlets, Boots, Earrings, Necklace, and Ring.

Like...

4/10 gear slots is raid gear

1/10 gear slots is not biased against you

And the remaining 5/10 so essentially half

Will have you fighting for your life with the drop rates unless you swap

The downsides are lack of skillbooks, limited lv80 raid gear resources, needing more lv80 reforge stones, and modules would be major points. Some qol live issues is having no presets to easily swap your gear if you are not using the classes with the same main stat, having to be careful to not break down your gear, etc. But overall, you'll still be fine regardless of all of these. You can do all farming content without the above. It just depends on what you're setting your expectations as.

Most of this is wrong or misconceptions.

• Lack of skillbooks - Not actually a problem for most classes, day 1 F2P / Non spender already has way more than enough books and we are going into Season 2 without any added talent levels to ascend

• Limited Level 80 Raid Gear Resources - Also not a problem, 60 gear works just fine for endgame content, I wouldn't call this a downside?

• Modules - F2P Shouldn't be spending any luno on them anyway?

I agree with the no presets being annoying in some cases, but that's also fixed in S2.

As for "having to be careful to not break down gear" You just embed it or refine it once

Reforging isn't a problem either, we have tons of excess 80 reforge stones.

I dual class my Frostbeam and Iaido, If anything the real downside is simply needing to swap gear

I'd actually say in the majority of the cases it's all pros and no cons

• Boosted Drop Rate with Gear
• Being able to farm Emblem or S2 Dream Factor / Imprints
• Having more coverage Tank/Heal/DPS
• Being able to experience other playstyles
• Being able to specialize in different fields, for me my Frostbeam is for AoE

If you're going to spend focus for Guild Cargo, I feel you're almost always better off just mining for the highest tier ores, selling them on the market and then buying the cheapest material from the guild cargo list on the market. Botany materials aren't really that focus-cost efficient.

If you really need the unbound Luno, you should always deliver the fish, though. Unless it's only green-tier fish, then it would take you... a few hours, I've tested that before

Is there a way to turn unbound luno into bound? I have 600k+ luno but only 1k bound. This is horse manure!!!

you can convert unbound to bound

click the + next to bound

you can do it with orbs too :x
