You'll also want the Kanamia Archer

Hey guys does anyone know if perfect dodging the fatal strike mechanic on light dragon gives it vulnerability? Also is there any sort of indicator before the fatal strike?

it will crouch like the leap attack and then spin. even after spin you still can use aegis ward or radiance to perfect dodge the subsequent attack.
there's one like 10s into the fight.

Fatal strikes are an attack that most bosses have. They flash red then do a big attack. If you perfect dodge them the boss becomes vulnerable, and skips out on a powerful attack. This is near 100% essential in dark mist

Seems to be he has 4 movesets

• AOE cone field that covers the entire field
• 2nd AOE cone field that covers only half of the field, and alternates between front/back & left/right
• AOE slam where he charges up his sword and shield (shield turns slightly pink) and then slams on the ground
• Gather slam where he will slam onto the backline. Players have to gather to not take too much dmg from this

If I had to assume what's killing you is the scouts placing down their purple puddles that deal tons of DoT to you. Or people aren't gathering on you from the "Gather Slam" ability

Going back to the start though, I technically am an outlier that I did it with 4 Mentee's not because it's extremely hard, but because they just updated the event and no longer allow you to get more than 3 Mentee's total ( WHICH IS UNFAIR )

That being said, I don't think you are supposed to be able to have more than 1 Mentor and would wait for the community team to confirm / deny that

Not sure. I was saying that it made sense that a mentee would need multiple strong players to clear it and get their mount. Especially if they are weak.

I replied saying I am pretty sure that is an outlier. You are either really strong or your mentees were strong/decent enough to clear it with some help and guidance.

But there are many mentees who are weak and underpowered for the mount.

And brings back to my point that. I think it makes sense that a mentee could ask for multiple Mentors help.

It depends on how geared the Mentee is really, If they are a really low score then it's not exactly teaching them the mechanics but instead carrying them through it ( which I don't think this was the point of the event ) It was saying something along the lines of "team up and guide them"

Those who could actually do it, probably already did. Generallyy for events like these, a lot of people do end up getting carried. Now whether that was the true purpose or not, I do think it is vague enough to be open to interpretation lol. Guiding vs carrying could be interpreted different ways

I think it's more of a "teach them" especially since there's a minimum level of level 5 on the discord channel to even qualify.
If it was just to carry them through it then there'd be no point having a requirement at all no?

But yeah, you'd need to wait for a reply from the Community team on if it's going to let you actually have 3 mentors or if it's an oversight.
