Just remember that being on the wrong class during reset will most likely mess up your Pioneer rewards. I am not sure if it loads them during reset or when you open the ui, but I'd believe the reset option more.

for the later part of his question tho, i am unsure cuz i had 2 things happened to me. times where the notice disapeared and my char kept afk farming, and had to relog to claim it back.
and when the notice appears, it locks my char in place and negates the H, killing my char.
most likely an update that made it that way, but havent tested it more
