brigand scout instead of muku chief if you do not have the materials yet

Being a DPS class makes it harder, you can somewhat ignore ungeared healers by dodging, for tanks it doesn't matter in some modes as long as they stay alive.

But being a "Main DPS" puts the burden of damage on you, and not being as geared will cause you to clear alot slower, so people will be more hesitant to let a newer player that's a DPS skip to endgame earlier than they should

I'm not saying that it won't happen, but it's alot more rare since DPS players often fight for spots anyway.

it really should rebuild this when installing. Are you sure you uninstalled/re-installed it to the same spot, and not just installed it in a different spot? You can either try making the package.json from someone elses version or just try uninstalling and deleting the entire folder for the launcher. And re-installing it.

yeah that will likely fix it. Basically it seems like it didn't properly close, but in trying to replace the files it couldn't and just deleted the files which weren't actively open, and closed the BrowserWindow (electron process) which is why it complained about object destroyed.

They are doing this because there are DPS requirements for the dungeon, people don't want to take 10 minutes to clear.
14k GS is honestly very low, you must be casual or very new since you can hit that in 2 days or less.
You can hit around 20k GS in a week if you know what you are doing.

This game is already very very generous with it's catch up system, it took us 2 weeks to hit level cap before and around a month to hit 14k GS, you can now do that in 1-2 days.

The problem is more so you rushing to endgame and expecting to be able to run the hardest content right away imo.

So I closed the launcher and opened it again , instead of pressing start, I click the icon thing next to the start button and clicked repair it scanned through the files and it seems to work now , hopefully this helps

@wraith stag I get things have changed. I've been playing since release. My biggest issue is Gear. Trying to get lvl 80 legendary

If you have 14k you shouldn't be trying to get 80 legendary, go for 80 unique gear instead.

The bare minimum for 80 legendary is 18k

Get your rating up first, then you should try running it

Or you can wait a week until solo mode is out and have bots carry you

Yeah true that's an option too, you could spam world boss until it drops gear but the rates on that are sooo bad for me personally

some other option is to get carried by people for first clear reward box, but thats it

Also, some things I forgot to mention.

• Craft 4 piece raid set for your respective class, on the chance you are Iaido you want Gloves + Shoes > Left Bracelet > Optional

• You won't have enough reforge stones for 80 gear so you should reforge and focus on 60 gear right now anyway, that will also help you get your rating up.

• MAKE SURE you reforge everything to 100/100

• Did you by change refine your gear? that transfers over, you should be getting quite some rating from this, focus on everything to 10 then only upgrade DPS oriented gear.

• Do you have good Imagines?

• Make sure you have the proper skill training levels.

• I wouldn't recommend you embed temporary gear, wait until you have better gear.

• Emblem you can work on passively from the Season Store

• Try and get decent modules equipped.

After that you should be around 18k,

You also have the option of being carried through it by your guild for the first time reward box, but I mean... 80 legendary gear especially with improper stats or low reforge is worse than fine tuned 60 gear

So I wouldn't rush 80 gear right now, instead focus on gearing up for it
