and it resets both if an SSR comes out, from my experience

So I'm unable to use chat or select maps... I'm told this is a "soft-lock" issue with my character, though every fix I've found so far to resolve (verifying game files, reinstalling, "hard reset" in logging out for longer than 30min before logging back in, etc) has failed to fix it. I had this issue in CBT and it never resolved all the way to event's conclusion. Anyone familiar with this issue and know a fix?

I can still play, it's just incredibly frustrating. Can't chat, but realistically primarily use Discord. Can't select maps, but I can still scroll all the way out and manually find the area I need to click on it that way. Massively frustrating but not game-breaking I think.

Yeah, basically the game is acting like "Enter" is constantly being pressed in very rapid succession. I can open chat, but every letter I type is individually entered into the chat window so quickly that I can't interrupt it. When selecting the map to cycle through them, it pops up for the tiniest fraction of a second then vanishes - as though there were a different input.
